It’s almost Halloween in the U.S., but that’s not why I decided to bring up the topics of aliens and ghosts in this month’s “Dreaming Out Loud” Patreon audio chat.
No, it’s simply because UAPs/aliens and ghosts fall into the category of “intersecting topics” that I often refer to, and that feature heavily in my research into consciousness, perception, and reality. I maintain that there is a connection between the paranormal — and paranormal topics — and dreams.
The connection has to do with belief, perception, and feelings; in particular, the feeling of fear.
What happens to us and our feeling of safety in the world when our belief systems are rocked? Ghosts, UAPs and dreams all have the power to shake up our belief systems.
I get into that more deeply in the audio chat, and share with you how I think dreams and dreamwork may be just as terrifying for some of us as aliens; and that this may be why we avoid remembering them or taking them seriously.
However, in the audio chat, I also challenge all of us to consider what benefits arise when we choose, instead, to be curious about our dreams (and maybe aliens) … and are willing, in general, to be shocked.
It is my belief (and you are free to challenge it) that dreams are a wellspring of wisdom, comfort, love, and awe. And that the shocks they may cause when we choose to remember them and take them seriously, are actuated out of love by ourselves for ourselves.
